This unit has a formed steel frame with heavy-duty casters, which allow easy movement. Unit includes: adjustable spring loaded upset, manual “quick clamps", replaceable upper and lower weld jaws that cover the complete wire range, fused disconnect, and heavy-duty industrial electrical components. The moveable weld jaw slides on two ball bearing bushings mounted to ground and hardened shafts, which are shielded from weld flash and dust. Standard features include: annealing jaws, 110 volt plug-in outlet and filing vise.

This unit has higher capacity with a more robust design to handle larger diameters. A heavy-duty frame with casters allows the operator to easily move it into position for welding. Independent foot operated pneumatic wire clamps allow the wire to be properly positioned before clamping. The adjustable air operated moveable weld jaw with a weld stop limit switch, controls the weld cycle. All moving components are shielded from weld flash and dust. Fused disconnect, heavy-duty industrial electrics and filing vise
are also included.

Standard Features for easy, trouble-free operation
All models are fully guarded with protective coverings over the weld area.
Weld transformers are integrally mounted with a multi-tap selector switch; epoxy is insulated to prevent internal breakdown and contamination; and AC is single phase heavy-duty construction. Weld headpieces are made from highly conductive copper alloy, which decreases the electrical loss and allows the input power line
demand to be less. BW Butt Welders cover the complete wire size
range and are easy and efficient to use.
