J3C Wire Butt Welder
Our JC Series Micro Weld Butt Welders are built to work harder, last longer, and deliver consistently high-quality welds on solid copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, and nickel wire and rod. The J3C is the entry capacity in the series, welding solid copper and aluminum from .032 in (0,81 mm) to .064 in (1,62 mm). An extra heavy-duty transformer paired with solid-state 99-step SCR heat control provides the fine, repeatable heat that highly conductive metals demand, while foot-actuated dual-action clamping and upset keep both hands free for material handling. Selectable 120V, 240V, or 480V single-phase power and a 4-wheel truck let it drop into almost any line.

Applications
Joining fine-to-mid solid copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, or nickel wire and rod ahead of drawing, forming, or coiling
Non-ferrous conductor and wire production in wire-and-cable manufacturing
Rejoining non-ferrous stock on payoff and take-up lines to keep a running line fed
Non-ferrous wire-form, electrical, and fastener work needing a clean, full-strength solid-metal joint
Real-World Benefits
- Extra heavy-duty transformer sized for continuous processing of non-ferrous wire and rod without duty-cycle stalls.
- Solid-state 99-step SCR heat control gives fine, repeatable heat selection — important for highly conductive metals like copper and aluminum that pull heat away from the weld zone.
- Foot-actuated, dual-action clamping and upset keep both hands free for material handling and produce a consistent, operator-independent upset.
- Selectable 120V, 240V, or 480V single-phase power drops into most shop services without special wiring.
- Mobile 4-wheel truck lets the station move to the line; filing vise, anneal, shear, and grinder options handle prep, weld, and finish.

Comparison to Similar Models
The J-suffix identifies which metal a J Series machine is built for, and the number sets the capacity. “C” models are the non-ferrous line (the JC Series), welding solid copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, and nickel — distinct from the “S” steel line and the “SF” flat-stock line, which share the same chassis but target different materials.
Within the JC Series, the J3C is the entry capacity, welding solid copper and aluminum from .032 in to .064 in (0.81–1.62 mm). Step up to the J4C (.064–.128 in) or J5C (.080–.250 in) as your conductor grows. If you weld steel, stainless, or titanium instead, choose the corresponding JS model; for flat strip, choose a JSF model.
Best For
Shops joining fine-to-mid solid non-ferrous wire and rod — copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, or nickel from .032 in to .064 in — that want the JC Series at its most economical, easy-to-handle capacity on standard single-phase power.
